Apprentaship in Fenestration Installation
As a FENSA registered company, you can be confident that your installations are fully compliant with Building Regulations Part L set out by the Government in April 2002.
Once the fitting of your new windows and doors have been completed, we register your installation with FENSA. A certificate is issued for your records within 6 weeks and our insurance backed guarantee company, Homepro, will provide a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.

Public Liability & Employers Liability Insurance
Lane & Peach are covered with Public Liability insurance to the sum of £2m. Customers are welcome to view our policy before any work commences, alternatively you can visit our Checkatrade site which verifies that our cover is valid.
Lane & Peach are covered by £10m Employers Liability insurance. Customers are welcome to request a copy of our policy schedule to verify.
Planning and Building Regulations
Lane & Peach can give an opinion on planning and building regulations however, is not legally binding. We recommend you seek independent advice from your local planning authority.
Lane & Peach will recommend to you local Architects and Building Inspectors that we have worked with on many occasions and that are known by your Local Authority should this be required for your build. Ultimately the architect or building inspector used is the customers decision.
On occasion Lane & Peach will require other contractors to be on site to carry out works for example plumbing & electrics.
Lane & Peach always use fully qualified and reliable contractors to carry out the necessary works that will meet health and safety regulations and supply any appropriate certification.
All sub-contractors we use carry their own Public Liability Insurance to protect customers, their property and the public.
At Lane & Peach we believe we offer excellent customer service and strive to give top quality workmanship.
All work that we carry out is covered by our customer guarantee, which will be signed and given to you on completion of works. Depending on the works carried out the guarantee lasts between 1 year and 20 years. Although we offer a guarantee, we want to ensure that the likelihood that you will need to use it is minimal.
Materials that we use are covered by manufacturers warranty. Warranty from manufactures may vary in length and have specific terms. Lane & Peach will advise you of any warranties that you will have, and how to ensure they are valid. Manufacturer guarantees will cease should those companies cease to operate.
On the very rare occasion that any work we carry out or materials we use does not have a guarantee, we will discuss this with you initially before any works go ahead to ensure that you completely understand and are happy before continuing.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Lane & Peach will advise you on the best possible way of cleaning and maintenance. Some products like ‘blue active self cleaning glass’ do not like cleaning chemicals and it is important that you follow the manufacturers recommendations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for advice even way after the completion of works.
Charges and Costs
We always seek to find the best possible materials for the budget you have in mind and will never use materials that we feel are of sub-standard quality or what we believe will not last the manufactures warranty.
We always charge a reasonable and fair price for our time. We always give best advice and will never try and sell anything that is not necessary.
Should the unpredicted happen or you require additional works, we will discuss the costs involved fully with you before undertaking any work.

In the first instance your complaint should be directed to the installer on site, if the installer cannot resolve the issue personally then the customer should telephone the office and detail their complaint to the office staff who will refer the complaint to an available Director.
The Director will then review your complaint and take appropriate action.
The Director will communicate this action to the customer.

- Hampshire County Council Trading Standards.
